How the religious debate normally pans out:
Normal religious person: I believe in what I believe. There's nothing wrong with not doing so, it just works best for me.
Normal Atheists: I don't believe in a God or anything. There's nothing wrong with doing so, it's just not really for me.
Those insane aggressive religious people: Believe or you'll end up in hell or whatever perdition I believe in.
Those insane aggressive Atheists who seem to all be on Tumblr: Nobody should ever believe in God, Catholicism is obviously the only religion in the world therefore we shall talk about that non-stop, Christmas was a Pagan holiday and it was raped by Christianity but I still celebrate it, and because I read a chapter of The God Delusion, I am now a history and philosophy major.
Normal, sane people: I don't care about what you believe because it's what YOU believe.
