Reptiles have such a bad rap, and people mistreat and neglect them so normally that it’s unreal to even think of. Nobody gives a shit and it fucking sucks because they aren’t a cute little fuzzy wuzzy kitty or puppy. This kind of blatant ignorance makes me rage.
First thing i would do if i was president? Kick every member of congress in the nuts. then if i could, kick them out of office.

Reminds me of this Galapagos Turtle shell that I saw at the zoo, showing that its spine had been horribly damaged because some people kept it as a pet long ago and used to ride on it without thinking it caused the poor creature any harm.
Every single animal deserves respect, more so if you are keeping one as a pet, my god how can that be so hard to understand.
This makes me so sad.

I would punch the owners in the face for mistreating their pets or other animals.
THOSE POOR BABIES. I honestly don’t think our local shelter even takes reptiles to be honest with you.
